It's that time of the year again...Christmas tree time!
This year I couldn't wait till after Christmas to go get trees because since I think the girls are pregnant and due in Feb, that means that they need their trees now.
So off we went to the wood lot. We loaded almost all the trees that our friend, Andrew, had cut for us. The trailer was a bit wobbly, but we got home in one piece.

I know some of you will think I'm nuts, ok ya'll think I'm nuts. I got my mom to go to the dollar store and get me some pregnancy test kits. No!!!I'm not in the family way. I just figured if they work on women, maybe they'll work on goats. I mean for $1.25, what do I have to lose? So I used one this morning and nothing came through, not even the control. I did it again tonight. It came out negative. So I don't know what to think. Maybe I should google it.
Hmmm...that's an idea.

LOve it! Why not try it for just 1.25? Althought I had no idea they had gotten so cheap! Seems like when I was buying them they were like 15 bucks a test?!! course that was 10+ years ago too.
ReplyDeleteNice looking trees. Did you get one for the house or just the goats? Your weather must be as nice as ours, with no snow YET. We have had some cool temps, and are expecting a dusting of snow tonight - I have been enjoying this brown winter.
We didn't get one for the house. We have an artificial in the house. Pregnancy tests are still 15 bucks here, but at the dollar store I guess they're only 1.25$
