This is one of those posts that you write when you have nothing to write about.
Sometimes things are going well...shhhhh...don't say that too loud!
So there's nothing exciting to report.
Sometimes you just don't want to post anything about the farm.
Sometimes you just want to post about something completely different!
Well this post is one of those posts.
This post is about my issue.
No, no it's not about this issue
Even though, that issue is still around.
It's about my new issue...
my mug issue.
Yes, I have an addiction I have been hiding from the world.
I collect mugs. And they're taking over my cupboard.
Now before you judge me,
let me introduce you to some of these mugs.
They all hold a special place in my heart.
These are just a few of them.
This one I just got this Christmas from my friend Theresa. So I cannot be blamed to the sudden appearance of this mug. But she knew it was made for me so she got it for me. |
I love this mug. A friend from our church got me this mug years ago for my birthday. The verse is so true. |
It's got cats!!! What else can I say. It's also huge. For the large coffee size on the Keurig machine. I bought it on vacation in Cap Breton. |
The mug on the left... goats...need I say more? The mug on the right our surname. And did ya'll know that the Doucette family crest has goats on it. It's just meant to be. |
No matchy, matchy mugs in this house. No sirree!
I also have a special mug at work which says,
"Of course I don't look busy. I did it right the first time!"
I've just realized that I don't have a chicken mug. Hmmm..that will have to be rectified.
I even upgraded to those Contigo insulated, travel mugs. Those are awesome also. But I only use them for travel. Since it is a "travel" mug. ;) I mean I cannot be unfaithful to my house mugs.
I've noticed after I reread this post that I have a serious addiction to Keurig.
I could be their poster child!
So there you have it. My mug addiction. And it's not going to end anytime soon.
Even though my husband and son hope it does.....heh heh heh.
Have a Blessed Evening
Lisa
Lisa, I chuckled at your collection of special mugs. My cupboard has many mugs that are special to me as well. They were mostly given to me by friends and family who carefully selected them on special holidays. The sayings, shapes, and uses fit my personality and desires to a Tee. I too use them every day with coffee and tea. I guess there could be worse addictions than coffee cups.
ReplyDeleteHave a great nearly Spring day.
Nothing wrong with having a hobby collecting mugs! I think they are awesome!
