Well for my birthday I wanted to go on a hike. I've always wanted to go to
Balancing Rock. It's really an amazing natural wonder.
Dave wasn't very into it, but I convinced him. He's not a very outdoorsy person. I love going for walks. Well I didn't realize it was a hike...not a walk! A 2.4 km trail ONE WAY to be exact and then 235 steps going down, down, down. But it was fun.
We even got to go on a ferry to get there.

Looking nice and fresh at the beginning. |

That is really neat!
ReplyDeleteAnd is it just my childish side coming out....but how many people just want to give it a little push just to "see" what happens?! hehe
Some boats have lassoed it and tried to pull it down, but didn't work.
DeleteAwww...I love the family picture and the picture of you and your hubby! Balancing Rock is pretty neat too! :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Have you ever considered doing away with Word Verification since you moderate comments? :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the word verification was active. Crap! How do I get rid of it? Honestly sometimes I just want to give up Blogger with all the grief it gives me. grrrr
DeleteNever mind. I figured it out. Hopefully it worked.
Delete..the way down is much easier than the way up!
ReplyDeleteI could not stand it when I was there and snuck out for a shot with the balancing stone..good thing I did not knock it over! hehe
